About Jenny

I was born and brought up on the Isle of Wight in the mid 50’s, living near the sea was a wonderful experience and to this day I miss being able to wander down to the beach at any time of the day to swim, relax or just sit and wonder about life. During this time the Island saw many old manor houses, castles and beautiful buildings fall into disrepair and then demolished making room for property developers to build thousands of much needed new homes.

I left the island in 1972, attending Portsmouth and Bristol Art Colleges where I realised that this transition period of architecture had left a lasting impression with me not only in terms of losing such wonderful buildings but in terms of the effect this devastation had on the landscape, the immediate environment and the stunning flora and fauna. My work whilst at Art School mainly hinged on these events and has stayed with me pretty much throughout my working life which has mainly been in the construction industry covering conservation and restoration. For the last 15 or so years I have worked in management and marketing in a position that started as part time and has ended up as a full time position. Choosing to put my energies into working more full time which I have enjoyed has taken me away from other more spiritual pastimes that I had enjoyed previously. In the last year I have been able to review my workload and slowly revert to working in a part time basis with help from some capable staff we have recently employed. So a new life beckons and as yet I have no real idea what form this will take.

I have always been captivated by all things spiritual and have enjoyed attending many spiritual workshops and working with some wonderful people including Margaret Neylon, Simon Buxton, Michael Bradford, Doreen Virtue, Sashiva and many more. The workshops included working with Angels and spirit guides, the sacred self, Shamanism, Reiki, working with crystals and much more. I have held many workshops and group meditation sessions at my home near Bristol. I have been practising Transcendental Meditation for over 40 years and enjoy attending a weekly Hatha yoga class which I love.

My qualifications include a BA Honours in Fine Art Sculpture, a post graduate in illustration, a PGCE In Secondary Education Design, extension studies in Graphic Design level 3, CITB Construction Ambassador skills training – highest level, STEM Ambassadorship Gloucester County Council, ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Accreditation.
