Just back from a fab visit to Paris, dropping of Scagliola samples to Designers in their fabulous Paris offices. I love Paris it is one of my favourite places of all time. I took the afternoon off with the intention of a long leisurely sojourn in the Louvre I particularly wanted to look at a Nicolas Poussin painting ‘The Shepherds of Arcadia’ (mentioned in The Da Vinci Code and a must read ‘Rat Scabies and the Holy Grail’ amongst others), alas the Louvre was closed, so I just wandered around Paris in the twilight and ended up at the Eiffel Tower in the Champs Mars, just as they turned the lights on it was awesome. I said a while ago I love anything to do with Mars so it was even more spectacular for me. Anway it was a really energising short trip maybe I will go and live there very soon..
